 he National Capital Planning Commission is the federal government's planni
 ng agency for the National Capital Region. The 12-member Commission meets 
 monthly to adopt\, approve\, or provide advice on plans and projects that 
 impact the nation's capital and surrounding areas.\n\nNCPC's work includes
 :\n\n 	Comprehensive Planning\n 	Federal Capital Improvements\n 	Review an
 d Approval of Federal Plans and Projects\n 	Signature Planning\n\nLAIGW is
  pleased to offer its members an opportunity to visit the Commission’s o
 ffices and hear from staff about the many exciting plans and projects taki
 ng place throughout the region. Lunch will be provided.\n\nNote: We're not
  meeting at Clyde's - We're meeting at the NCPC offices this month!\n\nThi
 s year is the agency’s Centennial. Many events have been held to commemo
 rate this anniversary and there are more to come. Of special note is an ex
 hibit at Arena Stage that presents the people\, events and issues that sha
 ped the evolution of Planning in Washington\, DC and the region. We will l
 earn more about Centennial activities at the meeting.\n\nJoin us for a fun
  event at a new location!\n\nTICKETS\n\n$0 - Paid up members can register 
 for this event at no additional cost. However\, if you register and no-sho
 w this event\, you will be invoiced the cost of a regular ticket ($35).\n\
