DESCRIPTION:You are invited to the April luncheon meeting at Clyde's Galler
 y Place on April 28 at noon. This month's program will highlight two nota
 ble projects in Washington DC including multiple phases of the redevelopme
 nt of the Saint Elizabeths East Campus and development of the Bridge Distr
 ict at the foot of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge.\n\nClick here t

 n\nThe St Elizabeths projects include over 250 multi-family rental units\,
  88 for sale townhouses and a medical office building delivered for Whitma
 n Walker Health. Future plans include two additional office buildings tota
 ling over 300\,000 gsf\, a hotel and a further 288 residential units.\n\nT
 he Bridge District is located on 8 acres of land between the southern end 
 of the new Frederick Douglass bridge and the Anacostia Metro station\, adj
 acent to over 100 acres of Anacostia Park. The 2\,500\,000 sf development 
 will include approximately 2\,000 residential units and 500\,000 gsf of of
 fice development. The Douglass is a 750-unit multifamily project that is u
 nder construction and is currently the largest in the world to seek net ze
 ro carbon from operations\, according to ILFI*. Overlooking the Anacostia 
 River\, The Douglass offers sweeping views of the Washington\, DC and Arli
 ngton\, VA skylines and proximity to nature.\n\nBoth projects are taking s
 hape through the work of Redbrick LMD. Redbrick is a community-minded deve
 loper\, owner\, and asset manager of high-impact real estate\, helping to

 projects. He has invested in and developed close to $2 billion in real est
 ate assets and established a pipeline of over $4 billion in future develop
 ment projects.\nPrior to founding Redbrick\, Tom invested in or founded nu
 merous operating businesses primarily in the real estate\, technology and 
 financial services industries. Tom began his professional career at McKins
 ey &amp\; Co. where he worked with financial institutions on strategy issu
 es. Tom earned his Ph.D. in economics from MIT and his BA in politics\, ph
 ilosophy and economics from Oxford University.The presentation for this me
