 We are all trying to read the tea leaves on the future state of retail aft
 er over a year of substantial disruption. Inadequate data exist on indepen
 dent retailers and restaurants\, the businesses that have limited ability 
 to compete for federal\, state\, and local programs and support. This sess
 ion will dive into a national and regional look at retail recovery--what h
 as happened recently and where we are headed. Bobby will present snapshots
  of where the need is the greatest\, which businesses have been able to ac
 cess programs\, and the supports needed now.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\nBobby Boone
 \, AICP\, founded &amp\;Access to create equitable retail real estate solu
 tions for small businesses and underserved communities. He brings experien
 ce working for international developers and brands\, and municipalities of
  various sizes to this project. He has created data-driven strategies for 
 over 100 commercial districts/properties throughout the nation to include 
 market-appropriate strategies\, architectural assessments\, funding priori
 tization\, and community training. Bobby shares his love of retail with ot
 hers as a Howard University\, University of Maryland\, and Harvard Univers
 ity lecturer and speaker at conferences across the nation. He received a B
 achelor of Science in Architecture from Florida A&amp\;M University and a 
 Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.\n&nbsp\;
